Michael P. Mazza, LLC concentrates its practice in intellectual property law and has significant experience in the trial of intellectual property cases. Mr. Mazza is also experienced in the procurement, maintenance, enforcement, counseling and licensing of domestic and foreign intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition and related business torts.
Mike holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law, and was with the nationally recognized intellectual property law firm of Niro, Scavone, Haller & Niro of Chicago for 13 years before opening his own law firm.
In addition to procuring and maintaining hundreds of patents and trademarks on behalf of his clients, and negotiating agreements resulting in licensing revenues of millions of dollars on behalf of his clients, Mike has extensive patent litigation experience, as shown by the exemplary list of published cases (download cases). Dana L. Drexler graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001 where she received her B.A. in the History of Art. Ms. Drexler earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2006. While in law school she was a staff writer for the Journal of Art and Entertainment Law and participated in the Hurricane Katrina Relief Project. Ms. Drexler is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. Ms. Drexler is a member of the Illinois Bar.

Gus Kostopoulos is a registered patent attorney with a background in electrical engineering and physics. An experienced litigator in a variety of practice areas, he is a licensed member of the Federal Trial Bar and has successfully tried 38 jury trials and over 50 bench trials to verdict.
As a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago, he serves on the Litigation and Patent Committees. He is active in the TIE Global Network of Entrepreneurs and in the Illinois Technology Development Alliance which work to support high technology entrepreneurship.
Gus is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was on the Dean's List, and the DePaul University College of Law, where he was a Dean's Scholar.
